Our guides will lead you away from the main tourist streets to local villages and markets of the area. Enjoy a beautiful motorbike ride through paddy fields, get to know local farmers and learn more about the complex craft of mushroom farming.

1st Stop: KKO School
First you will visit the local school run by KKO. The school was founded in 2009 and offers free education to children from nearby villages. You will be able to see where your donations go and learn about our projects and Cambodia’s educational system.
2nd Stop: Local Market
After visiting our school we will show you around at a local market, where you will feel the busy atmosphere of an authentic Cambodian market. Be brave and taste some of the numerous local rice sweets. Rubbing shoulders with the locals this is a one-of-a-kind experience for your sense of seeing, hearing and smelling.
3rd Stop: Mushroom Farm
On our way to see a traditional mushroom farm we will drive through rice fields and small villages to get a clear impression of the Cambodian countryside. At the mushroom farm, you will learn more about this complex craft and get to know the family that has been doing this for almost two decades.
4th Stop: Po Banteaychey Pagoda
Up next, we will bike to a local pagoda where you will see how Cambodian temple architecture has changed since the construction of Angkor. Look out for Hindu symbols and discover why Hinduism still plays an important part in a country where Buddhism is practiced by more than 95 percent of the population.
5th Stop: Lotus Farm
Our fourth stop will be at a lotus farm. Take a stroll over a floating bridge between beautiful pink and white lotus flowers. Find out about the special meaning of this pure and clean flower and its use in Cambodian cuisine.
6th Stop: Phnom Krom
Before making our way back to the office, we will ride to Phnom Krom. From this hill, located south of Siem Reap, you will have a wonderful view over flooded paddy fields, the Tonle Sap Lake and the surrounding villages. If the weather is fine, you might even be able to see the towers of Angkor Wat.-
