Six-Month Teacher Training
KKO is committed to providing the highest quality education for our students. To maintain and continually improve teaching standards, we ensure that our teachers and staff regularly participate in both internal and external professional development programs.
We are proud to share that two of our teachers recently attended a teacher training course at the Teacher Development and Support Organisation (TDSO). TDSO’s mission is to provide high-calibre professional development that equips teachers with the knowledge and skills needed to create lasting, positive change within Cambodia’s education system.
The training took place every Saturday for three hours over a six-month period. On November 03rd, 2025, our teachers successfully completed the course and received their official certificates. This program went beyond general English learning and focused specifically on English for Teaching. It emphasized three core areas essential to effective teaching: classroom management, clear and confident delivery of lesson content, and student assessment with constructive feedback.
We are confident that the new skills and methods they have learned will further strengthen their teaching performance and positively impact our students’ learning.
Although our teachers have already completed university studies in English for Education in Siem Reap, we believe that continual development is essential. That is why KKO is committed to ongoing training opportunities, and we are planning to send the rest of our teaching team to the next six-month training program at TDSO next year.
