Our organisation is committed to offering underprivileged children and young adults chances for a brighter future. The majority of Cambodians live in poverty in the countryside, many without access to education. Therefore we provide classes that will equip our students with tools for a more successful and independent life.
The KKO school is situated in the countryside just outside of Siem Reap where we host classes for around 300 students from seven surrounding villages. Our vocational training aims at young Cambodians interested in setting up their own mechanic or tailoring business.
Our organisation believes in the importance of local and sustainable NGO work. If you agree with that idea, we very much appreciate your support – may it be by purchasing some of our OFF TRACK products, booking one of our tours or by simply donating money to us. To give you an idea of how helpful your donation could be, see the list of cost for one student under the button DONATION.
Khmer for Khmer Organisation is an NGO located in Siem Reap and committed to giving underprivileged, needy children and young adults a good education with a foundation for a secure future. Our work includes English and Computer lessons as well as sewing and motorbike mechanic vocational training free of charge. Our goal is to help Cambodia return to more prosperous times of quality education, jobs which provide a living wage and communities where people participate in development.
KKO is committed to sustainability. This means, in the long run, we do not want to rely on donations alone.
We are offering unique OFF TRACK bicycle, motorbike and trekking tours with the idea to show you the Cambodian nature, culture and local lifestyle around Siem Reap off the beaten tracks.
